The forum was co-hosted by the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and South East Asia Telecom Group (Cambodia).

The university will strengthen exchanges between China and Cambodia in education, science and technology, and talent fields, tapping into the potential of digital economy and industry-education integration, Xu said during the opening ceremony.
A memorandum of cooperation has been jointly signed by universities, industrial associations, and enterprises, establishing a collaborative base for talent cultivation in the digital economy and a joint laboratory for educational integration between China and Cambodia.
Chet Chealy, president of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, said the signing of the cooperation memorandum will be a new starting point to continue deepening exchanges between BUPT and other Chinese universities, as well as the industrial sectors of China and Cambodia.
